Sponsor pavilions, visitor journeys, and 3D visualizations for Kaufland at The Color Run Romania.
Across several editions of The Color Run Romania, in collaboration with Kick Off Events, I helped shape Kaufland’s event presence into playful, buildable, and photo-friendly brand experiences.
The work translated Kaufland’s RE:FRESH communication into physical spaces: sponsor pavilions, visitor journeys, interactive corners, scenographic props, branded graphic surfaces, 3D models, technical layouts, and production-ready documentation.
Each edition had to feel fresh and memorable while fitting into the wider event environment: clear to enter, easy to understand, attractive from a distance, and practical to build.

Collaborators
The work was developed for Kick Off Events and Kaufland’s brand presence at The Color Run Romania, in coordination with the event team, production partners, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
Challenge
A sponsor space at The Color Run has to compete with an already colorful, high-energy event environment.
It needs to be visible from a distance, easy to enter, quick to understand, attractive in photos, and operationally realistic. It also has to support the sponsor’s communication message without blocking circulation or feeling disconnected from the event.
The challenge was to turn Kaufland’s freshness message into spaces people could physically enter, explore, photograph, and remember.
Solution
I developed a series of temporary brand spaces that turned freshness into visitor journeys: open pavilions, colorful entrances, interactive corners, photo moments, market-inspired scenography, playful props, graphic surfaces, and clear buildable layouts.
Each edition adapted Kaufland’s visual and communication direction into a physical experience designed for visibility, engagement, social sharing, and production feasibility.
2026 — KAUFLAND MARKET OF HAPPINESS
The 2026 edition evolved the activation into Kaufland Market of Happiness — an open, modular brand pavilion designed around visibility, intuitive circulation, and quick visitor interaction.
The structure used a clear truss-and-banner logic, creating strong exterior branding and an easy-to-read spatial presence from multiple directions. Inside, the visitor journey was organized around simple interactive moments: entering, exploring, playing, picking, and receiving a branded takeaway.
The design focused on making the pavilion feel open, joyful, and accessible while keeping the layout production-ready and easy to understand for the event team, client, and suppliers.

2025 — KAUFLAND AMAZING GARDEN
For the 2025 edition, the activation became Kaufland Amazing Garden — a colorful, immersive sponsor experience built around freshness, nature, play, and social sharing.
The concept translated the RE:FRESH message into a walk-through garden environment with a rainbow flower arch, oversized fruit moments, aromatic herbs, a fresh market photobooth, and a final freshness tunnel.
Compared with the more modular truss-and-banner logic of 2026, this edition worked as a scenographic ensemble: a collection of visual and sensory moments designed to make the brand experience feel generous, playful, and highly photogenic.
2024 — KAUFLAND × THE COLOR RUN CELEBRATION
The 2024 edition celebrated the long relationship between Kaufland and The Color Run Romania.
The pavilion was designed as a colorful memory space, combining the 10-year anniversary of The Color Run Romania with Kaufland’s role as a long-term main partner. The experience used a walk-through structure, graphic walls, photo moments, and references to previous editions.
The final built version adapted the original structure logic into a truss-and-banner system, keeping the visual storytelling and visitor experience while making the installation more practical for production.
