Spatial design and visualisations for The Color Run Night – Mamaia and Bucharest, 2026.

One activation programme, developed in two spatial configurations for sampling, movement and play.

Working with Kick Off Events, I developed the spatial design and presentation material for FULFIL’s presence at The Color Run Night in Mamaia and Bucharest. The work brought product sampling, physical challenges, a playful photo opportunity and seating into a recognisable setting, then adapted that arrangement for the second event.

Bucharest design solution (visualisation) – activities arranged around a central branded volume.

Role
Spatial and architectural design, layout development, technical design, 3D modelling, visualisation and client presentation material.
COLLABORATORS
Developed with Kick Off Events for FULFIL, one of Ferrero Group's brands. Kick Off Events proposed most of the activation activities. My contribution focused on their spatial arrangement, physical design and presentation.
Challenge
The activation needed to accommodate several different kinds of participation: stopping for a sample, taking a photograph, trying a physical challenge or sitting down between activities.
The design had to give each use a clear place while keeping the overall space open and recognisable. The brief also called for elements suitable for use across more than one event.
MAMAIA – AN OPEN CORNER
The Mamaia proposal used two truss-supported banner walls to frame the activity area. Yellow flooring connected the sampling counter, refrigerated product display, weightlifter photo prop and sports activities within one compact setting.
I grouped the sampling point and fridge along one edge, with the photo prop and activity equipment occupying the remaining space. The large graphics provided a backdrop, while the open sides connected the activation to the surrounding event.

BUCHAREST – ACTIVITIES ON FOUR SIDES
For Bucharest, I reorganised the activation around a central branded volume. Sampling, the weightlifter photo opportunity, the stepping challenge and the pedal challenge each occupied a different side, with seating distributed around the perimeter.
This arrangement gave participants several points of approach and each activity its own frontage. The proposal combined a large LED face with branded surfaces, keeping the central volume visible from different directions.
The change retained the project’s yellow-and-black identity and familiar activity elements while giving them a different spatial relationship.

BEYOND THE ACTIVATION AREA
The presentation also explored FULFIL’s presence along the run route. A yellow inflatable arch, flags and branded barriers formed the proposed colour station, extending the same visual identity beyond the dedicated activity space.

Deliverables
Spatial layouts for the Mamaia and Bucharest activations.
Design development of physical activation elements and their arrangement.
Technical design, 3D models and presentation visualisations.
Client presentation material covering the activity space and supporting brand applications.
Outcome
FULFIL’s activation was implemented at The Color Run Night in Mamaia and Bucharest in 2026.
The Bucharest event reel shows participants using the stepping challenge, exercise bike, photo prop, sampling point and seating. It provides a view of the completed activation alongside the design proposals presented here.
